We're still looking for whoever got Will, Homelander, and Giles. Assuming the accused are guilty. That seems more useful that the pumpkin patch at this point.

None at all. He was most certainly caught by surprise. And if she knew of his profession somehow, it would be intelligent to get rid of him immediately.

We seem to have dismissed the vampires, generally, as being too controlled for tearing people apart.
